Miami Ice - Brand Identity Refresh

Role: Graphic Designer

Collaborators: Bicolor Corner

Overview:
Miami Ice, a rapidly growing iced coffee brand, needed to strengthen their brand identity to better reflect their personality and market position. The company was working with inconsistent branding, including multiple logos that didn't feel cohesive with one another.

Challenges:
Defining a visual identity that captured the essence of "iced coffee" while aligning with the brand's upcoming "on-tap" launch was the core challenge. Additionally, navigating a range of client preferences and guiding them toward one cohesive direction took careful consideration and clear communication throughout.

Our Approach:
As Graphic Designer, I worked closely with Bicolor Corner and the Miami Ice team to address these challenges. I started with brand research and competitor analysis to understand the market and identify what could set Miami Ice apart. From there, I worked directly with the client to define brand values, target audience, and desired positioning. Based on those insights, I developed and presented three distinct logo concepts, each taking a different approach to the "Miami Ice" experience, exploring visual elements inspired by ice cubes, cold brew aesthetics, and the "on-tap" experience. Throughout the process, I communicated design concepts and rationale clearly to the client, offering recommendations to help guide their decision-making.

Conclusion:
This project gave Miami Ice the cohesive, memorable brand identity they needed. Communicating design concepts and rationale clearly to the client played a key role in guiding their decision-making process. This project demonstrated my design and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment, and my ability to translate brand strategy into a compelling visual identity.
